Lab Testing and X-Rays – At The Doctors’ Office Urgent Care of Paramus has on site rapid testing for strep throat, flu, urinalysis, mono, glucose, pregnancy and some STD’s. We also have x-rays and EKG’s on site. This eliminates the time consuming and expensive task of going to another laboratory for testing. We want you to feel better and fast and by providing these rapid testing services, we can ensure you are on your way to feeling better quickly. Some of our lab testing does need to be sent out to a lab processing facility. If this is the case, we will be sure and report your results to you in a timely manner.

Our urgent care centers provide onsite x-rays for all our patients. Having x-rays on site reduces your time diagnosis, medical care, and money spent. We can quickly diagnose common ailments and injuries such as pneumonia, bronchitis, asthma, broken bones, and much more. There is no need to visit another facility for x-rays at The Doctors’ Office Urgent Care of Paramus.

Certain tests must be sent out to a laboratory for processing as our urgent care does not have the ability to process labs during your visit such as kidney panels, thyroid testing, and many other lab tests. When we send your specimen out we are always sure to contact your about your results. You may receive a bill from the laboratory that has processed your specimen. All lab tests must be ordered after being seen by one of our providers. Charges will depend on your individual coverage. Please contact your insurance carrier directly for laboratory coverage.
